HUMANITARIAN AID BARGE

The HAB is fitted with a wide range of emergency equipment :

tents, food, cross country vehicles, clothes, kitchen equipment and a fully equipped hospital.

  • It is autonomous and self-powered.
  • The barge can be loaded into a Techonmax ship and transported to a disaster to be floated off to moor at sea or at a dock or in an estuary.
  • It has its own helicopter with a landing pad forward.
  • The HAB could be quickly deployed by United Nations Agencies to areas hit by a hurricane or by a tsumani.
